We defend you effectively against accusations
Sexual Coercion
Sexual coercion is a serious crime that can result in several years of imprisonment. It is regulated in Section 177 of the German Criminal Code, which covers the offenses of sexual assault, sexual coercion, and rape.
Coercion occurs when the alleged perpetrator forces the victim to perform sexual acts. Sexual coercion requires a means of coercion. This is usually the use of force, but it can also be psychological pressure.
In the case of such an accusation, it must be examined whether the offense of sexual coercion is actually committed. The spectrum is broad: Sometimes there are false accusations in this area, where we must demonstrate our clients’ innocence.
Sometimes, however, the accusation is also true. In these situations, we try to reduce the sentence for our clients.
Fundamentally, this accusation is a sensitive issue. It’s not just about the verdict; the accused also faces social isolation. Therefore, we strive to avoid a public trial if possible. This cannot always be prevented, but sometimes a dismissal of the case or a penal order can be obtained. The extent to which a defense strategy is effective varies from case to case.
It’s best to contact us immediately if you learn of such an accusation. We can then immediately take legal countermeasures.
